It’s time for another blog contest!! This time I’m giving away two free hours of “photo booth” photography for your event. You provide the event (birthday party, block party, wedding, corporate event – whatever!), and we will provide the backdrop, manpower, fun props, and free souvenirs.
TO ENTER: Simply leave a comment on this post by midnight (central time) today (Monday, June 14, 2010) telling me what kind of event you have coming up. That’s it! Tomorrow I will randomly select the winner, so check back to see if you’ve won.
WHAT YOU GET:

With the warm, sunshiny goodness that Chicago has been enjoying lately, surely you can forgive me for neglecting my blogging duties? Earlier this week, Amanda and I spent a little time at Diversey Harbor enjoying the views and the boats and the general loveliness of the day. I admit that shooting portraits in full sun makes me a little hesitant, but this time I decided to just embrace the dappled lighting and general… well, brightness. I think it went quite well. What do you think?

Beautiful sisters! These gals and their family (you will meet them later!) braved a chilly, windy day for their photo session and I think it was worth it. I’m jealous! I may have to talk my sister into having some photos taken of the two of us when I’m down her way this summer (:

Hello and good evening!
In honor of the six more weeks of winter (5 weeks and 6 days, but who’s counting?) we have to look forward to, I have decided to have a contest. I’m in the mood to give away a portrait session – are you in the mood to win one? If so, simply leave a comment in this post by 5p.m. tomorrow (Thurs., February 4, 2010). On Friday a number will be picked at random and that number post will win.

Mike, his fiance, and I had an adventurous afternoon headshot session at St. Luke’s last week. Mike is an up-and-coming actor (a former high school English teacher, so I’m sure he’s good at improv!).

Wednesday I had the pleasure of photographing Jessica, of How about orange… fame. I’m a faithful reader of her blog, so it was fun to meet her in person.
She is lovely, and fun, and was a good sport as we explored St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Logan Square (my new favorite location for indoor sessions, btw).

Okay, so this session obviously wasn’t all about headshots, but that’s the category it best fits (: This lovely lady is running for a judge seat in the February election. Smart, enthusiastic, and sincere – a great combination if you ask me. So, as they say, vote early and vote often! Moreso the former than the latter, please.
Keep your eyes peeled – you may just see a photo of Nichole, taken by yours truly, on a billboard during your morning commute (:
