It’s time for another blog contest!! This time I’m giving away two free hours of “photo booth” photography for your event. You provide the event (birthday party, block party, wedding, corporate event – whatever!), and we will provide the backdrop, manpower, fun props, and free souvenirs.

How could I not enjoy traipsing around downtown Chicago with a couple in love? Marci and Chris were awesome to photograph and they had so much fun together – the true sign of lasting love, in my opinion! They had no problem pretending I wasn’t there with a camera in their faces, which made it easy to capture some lovely moments. Enjoy (:

In honor of the six more weeks of winter (5 weeks and 6 days, but who’s counting?) we have to look forward to, I have decided to have a contest. I’m in the mood to give away a portrait session – are you in the mood to win one? If so, simply leave a comment in this post by 5p.m. tomorrow (Thurs., February 4, 2010). So I was out walking the other day and came across this couple, obviously much in love… No, just kidding! Taylor and Kyle are clients and I had the best time shooting their engagement pics in and around the new Modern Wing of the Art Institute.

Wow. The only description I can think of for July is insanely busy [but FUN]. On top of photography, I am taking two classes that are fun and creative and challenging [and veryvery time consuming]. The weekend of July 4th seems like ages ago. That Friday I photographed the wedding of a fun and beautiful couple at the fun and beautiful Pleasant Home in Oak Park. Here a are just a few detail shots from before the ceremony. More to come, as usual. Weddings always get multiple posts!
